Piet Schrijvers match worn Ajax FC of Holland / Netherlands football shirt worn against Juventus in the UEFA Cup in November 1974. Interesting that the team were wearing Le Coq Sportif but the keeper wore an unnumbered Adidas template shirt.
This classic Adidas jersey was worn in Nottingham Forest’s title winning season of 1977-78. Peter Withe was the gentleman wearing number 9, and this spec was used in the match against Derby County. There were many variations used throughout, with this particular type in use early on. This craker of a shirt is signed by a whole host of legends, including Brian Clough, Martin O’Neill, John Robertson and many more from that famous team. Footage of the game is here.
This is a Liverpool FC players away match worn shirt from the 1991-2 season. Its got all the differences from the replica, and more info here on this great site documenting the history of Liverpool jersies. What’s interesting about this is that the 13 in this era was more than likely worn by a member of the backroom team. There is a lot of use and stains so probably used in friendlies as well.
Graeme Souness wearing the same style shirt (note Football League badges) during a pre-season friendly in 1991.
